Expert Optometrist Dr. Nance

Dr. Nance completed his undergraduate studies at Oklahoma Christian College. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 1977. After graduation, Dr. Nance was associated with Dr. Bill Watson for three years in a Memphis-based private practice. In 1980, he moved his practice to Pearle Vision Center and later became a Pearle Vision Center franchise owner in 1983. In February 1993, Dr. Nance merged his practice with Drs. Tacker and Knudson.

Dr. Nance is a member of the West Tennessee Optometric Society, Tennessee Optometric Association, and American Optometric Association. He and his wife Wanda have two children, Amy and Blake.

Expert Optometrist Dr. Hines

Dr. Hines completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Memphis. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2003. While in optometry school, Dr. Hines was the 2002 Varilux Optometry Super Bowl National Champion, which is a yearly academic competition between the top students from each of the optometry schools in North America. Dr. Hines has also instructed educational courses on injections and minor surgical procedures and has been the principal investigator for numerous contact lens clinical trials. Following graduation, Dr. Hines joined Drs. Tacker and Nance at the Optometry Group in June 2003.

Dr. Hines is currently an active member of the West Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, and American Optometric Association. He and his wife Leslie have two daughters, Evie and Ally.

Expert Optometrist Dr. Moore

DrMoore completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Mississippi.  She graduated as a Taylor Medalist, which is the highest academic award presented at the University of Mississippi.  DrMoore received her Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry, graduating Cum Laude and as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. DrMoore is an active member of the West Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians and American Optometric Associations.  She and her husband, Miles, have Four children.
